Kevin received a degree from Northern Arizona University, but actually spent more time snowboarding and shooting his friends snowboarding than studying. His ability to capture the sport’s character and essence led to a career as a principal photographer for Burton Snowboards and to a contract with TransWorld Snowboarding Magazine. For the next eight years, he traveled the world creating and capturing some of snowboarding’s most iconic images. His aspirations to shoot commercially spurred him to trade in the avalanches, dicey mountain top helicopter landings, and the youthful culture of snowboarding for the sunshine and surf of Los Angeles in order to focus more on editorial and commercial photography. Kevin believes in hard work, collaboration and positive energy. He enjoys getting people to relax in front of the camera.
